Dale Earnhardt Jr. Favored to Win 2017 Daytona 500

Despite missing the better part of the 2016 NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series season, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the early favorite to win the 2017 Daytona 500.

Odds have been released for this years Great American Race and 2 Time Daytona 500 winner Dale Earhardt Jr. tops the list of favorites at +600 according to oddsmakers at online sports betting site Bovada.lv.

Earnhardt Jr. missed 18 races of the 2016 season while recovering from concussion like symptoms and hasn¹t raced since July 9, 2016 at Kentucky Speedway. Brad Keselowski (+700), Joey Logano (+1000). Kyle Busch (+1000) and Kevin Harvick (+1000) round out the top 5 odds to win favorites.

The 2017 Daytona 500 will take place on Sunday February 26, 2017 at 2pm Eastern from Daytona International Speedway. Fox will broadcast the race, American idol alum Jordin Sparks will sing the National Anthem and actor Owen Wilson will serve as the Grand Marshall.
