SEATTLE (AP) -Pitcher John Parrish is one of six players the Seattle Mariners have added to their roster for the final month of the season.
The Mariners recalled the left-hander on Sunday from Triple-A Tacoma, a day after recalling outfielder Mike Morse and left-hander Ryan Feierabend.
Also on Saturday, the first day rosters were expanded to 40, the Mariners purchased the contracts of outfielder Charlton Jimerson and catcher Rob Johnson from the Rainiers, and activated right-handed pitcher Sean White from the disabled list.
Parrish, traded to the Mariners from Baltimore for minor league outfielder Sebastien Boucher on Aug. 23, is 2-2 with a 5.74 ERA in 49 games between the Orioles and Mariners.
It’s the fourth time Feierabend has been called up this season. He is 1-4 with an 8.47 ERA in eight appearances, including seven starts, for Seattle.
White had a 7.03 ERA in nine games as a reliever before he injured his right biceps on June 2.
