OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – Seattle infielder Nick Franklin left Tuesday’s game against the Oakland Athletics after the top of the eighth inning with a left knee laceration.
Franklin beat a throw to the plate and caught his left knee on the cleats of A’s catcher Derek Norris. His pants were torn and the laceration required stitches.
