OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -Oakland outfielder Milton Bradley was reinstated from the 15-day disabled list Friday and in the lineup for the Athletics’ series opener against the Cleveland Indians.
Bradley went on the disabled list on April 23 with a strained left hamstring. He was batting .263 with one home run and three RBIs in 11 games before the stint on the DL.
To make room for Bradley, the A’s optioned outfielder Danny Putnam to Triple-A Sacramento. He hit .214 with a home run and two RBIs in 11 games with the A’s.
