DETROIT (AP) -Kansas City Royals center fielder David DeJesus aggravated his sprained right and left the game Monday against the Detroit Tigers.
The Royals, who pinch hit for DeJesus in the third inning, said he’s day to day.
DeJesus injured his right ankle last week in spring training.
He hit .260 with seven homers and 58 RBIs last year. He has a .282 batting average with 31 home runs and 209 RBIs since making his major league debut in 2003 with the Royals.
