KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Spring training is usually a time of hope.
Unless you're the Houston Astros. Or the Miami Marlins.
With no-name rosters and in the midst of massive rebuilding jobs, these teams are more likely to be remembered as among the worst in recent years than make any sort of run for the playoffs.
Astros pitcher Lucas Harrell isn't fazed by the low expectations, even though Houston faces the additional burden of moving from the NL to perhaps the toughest division, the AL West. After pitching Thursday against the Yankees, he says the Astros believe they ``can shock a lot of people.''
The Marlins dismantled their roster after struggling in a new stadium. Owner Jeffrey Loria has come under intense criticism, while the players are trying to stay out of the fray.
