Aguilar keys Brewers win

Jesus Aguilar finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a pair of doubles, a walk, two runs and three RBIs in Milwaukee's 7-2 win over the Dodgers in Game 6 of the NLCS. Lorenzo Cain was 2-for-5 and scored a pair of runs. Christian Yelich ended the game 1-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run. Ryan Braun was 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI. Mike Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI. Corey Knebel earned the win in relief as he struck out two in 1 2/3 spotless innings of relief.

Freese homers in loss

David Freese hit leadoff for Los Angeles Friday night with a left-hander on the mound and went 2-for-3 with a solo home run to lead off the game plus a double and two RBIs. Brian Dozier walked and scored a run off the bench in two plate appearances. Hyun-Jin Ryu suffered the loss as he surrendered five earned runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out three and walking two.

Walker Buehler (8-5, 2.62 ERA) will start today for the Dodgers, while the Brewers counter with Jhoulys Chacin (15-8, 3.50).

MLB Betting Odds

Los Angeles

The Dodgers are 20-9 in their last 29 games. The under is 6-1-1 in Buehler's last eight starts on grass.

Milwaukee

The under is 7-2-1 in the last 10 Brewers games overall. The under is 6-2-1 in the last nine Milwaukee playoff games.

Prediction:

How can you not like Milwaukee here? First, Chacin has stepped it up in big games this season and will only be looked to get through five innings here and possibly six if he is pitching great. The Brewers are at home, where they have been excelling. And they did not even use super reliever Josh Hader in Game 6, which leaves him available for two or three innings in Game 7. Buehler has had a fantastic rookie year, but he did give up four earned runs earlier this series at Dodger Stadium and could be shaky in a hitter's environment for Game 7. The Dodgers have all the pressure on them as the favorites to get out of the National League. Milwaukee seems like the smart play here.
