Seattle Mariners DFS SPIN

Julio Rodríguez went 1-for-2 with a homer Wednesday in a victory over the Tigers. Rodríguez only got two plate appearances before exiting the game that meant nothing. He was still able to do damage by absolutely shellacking a Tyler Alexander pitch for a leadoff homer; his 28th of the season. Even with a couple of trips to the IL, Rodríguez was spectacular in his rookie season with 25 steals, a .284/.345/.509 slash and 75 RBI over 132 games. Before being named Rookie of the Year, he'll hit at the top of the lineup for the Mariners against the Blue Jays in the Wild Card round.

Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN

Gabriel Moreno reached base three times and scored twice Wednesday in the nightcap versus the Orioles. After slugging his first major league home run in the first half of the doubleheader, Moreno singled twice, drew a walk and scored a couple times in the second game. The rookie finishes with a .319/.356/.377 batting line over 24 games for the Jays. Toronto has some decisions to make at catcher this offseason with lots of depth at the position. Moreno could be trade bait or possibly elevated to a regular role.
