MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The Cubs are 1-5 in their last six road games. Chicago is 2-5 in its last seven Friday games.
St. Louis
The Cardinals are 7-1 in their last eight Friday games. St. Louis is 6-2 in its last eight games overall.
Prediction:
Stick a fork in Chicago. The Cubs are toast. Manager Joe Maddon, who could be on his final days in Chicago, didn’t use his regulars last night. He probably won’t use many tonight. St. Louis has something to play for. This is a no brainer for me. Crazy things happen in baseball, but I can’t see an argument for taking the Cubs tonight.
