Brantley singles home winning run
Michael Brantley hit a walk-off RBI single which scored Rajai Davis Saturday night to send Cleveland to a 5-4 win over the Red Sox. Brantley finished the contest 3-for-6 with the RBI. Josh Donaldson was 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI. Yan Gomes went 2-for-5 with a double, a run and an RBI. Jason Kipnis finished 1-for-2 with a walk. MLB Betting Trends
The Red Sox are 6-2 in their last eight games following a loss. Boston is 19-7 in its last 26 Sunday games.
The Indians are 39-16 in their last 55 game threes of a series. Cleveland is 1-5 in Plutko's last six starts.
Boston is sending the more trustworthy pitcher to the mound, although the case could be made that with these two offenses the over on the total deserves serious consideration. I'm going with Boston, however, as it should be able to establish a lead iwth Velazquez on the mound before giving way to the bullpen. While it can be a shaky bullpen at times, there should be some cushion to work with. Go with the visitors tonight.
