Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports that the appeal hearing for Aroldis Chapman has been pushed back to next year due to an issue involving availability of witnesses. Somehow this is an issue in 2020 despite basically everything going down via Zoom. Still, with only six days remaining on the regular season calendar, the decision will be pushed back to next year. Chapman was handed his three-game suspension by Major League Baseball back on September 2 for throwing at Mike Brosseau of the Rays.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. tripled, doubled twice, drove in three runs and walked versus the Yankees on Monday. It’s the second time in his career that Guerrero has had three extra-base hits in a game; he also did it in a two-homer game Aug. 1, 2019. He still hasn’t gotten hot at any point this year and it might not happen with six days to go, but his Statcast numbers are better than they were in his rookie campaign. He’s still on the right path to stardom.
Yankees vs. Blue Jays Betting Prediction
The over is a perfect 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams and is now 6-1 in the Yankees’ last seven games overall. The over has also cashed in six of their last seven games as a favorite, is 6-1 in their last seven games versus AL East teams and is 4-0 in their last four games versus an opponent with a winning record. On the other side, the over is also 7-2 in the Blue Jays’ last nine home games versus a team with a winning record and has cashed in four of their last five games as an underdog.
