MLB Betting Trends
New York
The under is 6-1-1 in the last eight Mets games overall. New York is 6-2 in its last eight games following a loss.
Washington
The Nationals are 8-3 in their last 11 games overall. The over is 6-2 in the last eight meetings.
Prediction:
This is a pitching mismatch of epic proportions. Vargas is an also-ran clinging to an MLB job, while Scherzer is one of baseball’s best. Washington has shown signs of life lately and its offense should pound Vargas and the bullpen, giving Scherzer plenty of wiggle room.
