New York Yankees DFS Spin
Giancarlo Stanton went 4-for-5 with a homer and a double as the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 10-7 on Thursday. Stanton hit the fourth of five homers in the Yankees’ historic fourth inning. Brett Gardner, DJ LeMahieu and Luke Voit hit consecutive homers off Chase Anderson, and after Aaron Hicks struck out, Stanton and Gleyber Torres went back-to-back. Stanton’s homer was his fourth in 64 plate appearances this season. He’s hitting an exceptional .320/.460/.640 in between injuries.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer as the Red Sox beat the Marlins 5-3 on Thursday afternoon. Devers hit a single in the top of the first inning, reached on a force out and scored a run in the top of the sixth, and then blasted a pitch from Johan Quezada over the right-center field fence in the top of the seventh. It was the 11th home run of the season for Devers, who’s sporting a .293/.345/.550 batting line with 36 RBI and 29 runs scored in 48 games played. He’s been a bright spot in a difficult year for the Red Sox.
Yankees vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
With the way the Yankees are currently swinging the bats, the over looks as good as ever tonight at Fenway Park. The over is 11-4-1 in the last 16 meetings between these two teams in Boston and is 13-6-4 in the Yankees’ last 23 games following a win. During their current 8-game winning streak, the Yankees have scored fewer than six runs only twice (back-to-back wins versus the Orioles in which they scored two and three runs, respectively) and scored double-digits four times, including in back-to-back-to-back games versus Toronto. The over is also 6-1-1 in the Red Sox’ last eight home games, is 4-1 in their last five games overall and cashed in five of their previous six divisional games as well.
