MLB Betting Trends

The under is 19-7-1 in the last 27 Pirates games overall. The under is 9-3 in the last 12 meetings in St. Louis.

St. Louis

The Cardinals are 23-9 in their last 32 games overall. St. Louis is 12-5 in its last 17 home games.

St. Louis is at home and has more to play for right now, but Pittsburgh does have the better starting pitcher on the mound while the hosts are going with a rookie. The Pirates are favored for a reason and they came into this series on a hot streak. Look for Pittsburgh to avoid the sweep today behind a strong Taillon outing.
