Reds' struggles continue

Cincinnati lost by a score of 6-2 at home Tuesday night against Philadelphia to drop to 64-75 overall and 37-33 at home. Aristides Aquino helped pace the offense as he finished 1-for-4 with an RBI. Josh VanMeter went 1-for-4 with a walk and a run scored. Tucker Barnhart ended the game 2-for-4. Amir Garrett took the loss in relief as he allowed one earned run on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks over two-thirds of an inning. MLB Betting Trends

Philadelphia

The Phillies are 5-1 in their last six games versus a right-handed starter. Philadelphia is 5-1 in the last six Nola starts versus the NL Central.

Cincinnati

The Reds are 1-6 in their last seven games overall. Cincinnati is 0-4 in the last four Bauer starts.

Prediction:

I can't back struggling Cincinnati or Bauer right now. With Philly playing some good baseball and needing every win it can get in the playoff race, I'm betting on its ace today to get the job done.
