A’s give up winning run in ninth

Matt Chapman was 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs to highlight the offense. Jed Lowrie finished 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, a run and an RBI. Stephen Piscotty had a double and three RBIs in four at-bats. Ramon Laureano finished 1-for-3 with a double plus a walk. Jeurys Familia took the loss in relief as he allowed one earned run on one hit in one-third of an inning.

MLB Betting Trends
Seattle
The Mariners are 21-7 in LeBlanc’s last 28 starts on grass. The under is 6-2 in LeBlanc’s last eight starts overall.
Oakland
The A’s are 21-6 in their last 27 home games. Oakland is 8-20 in its last 28 home meetings against Seattle.
Prediction:
Montas has shown some promise in the big leagues and is holding his own for the most part. LeBlanc has slowed down a bit since his great start to the season and Oakland is very tough to beat on its home field. Oakland is trending upward still and I’m betting on the hosts getting this series off to a solid start.
