M’s shut out by Yankees
Seattle lost by a count of 7-0 at home Tuesday night against New York to drop to 56-77 overall and 29-39 at home. MLB Betting Trends
New York
The Yankees are 4-1 in their last five road games. New York is 5-0 in the last five Paxton starts.
Seattle
The Mariners are 2-5 in their last seven Wednesday games. Seattle is 2-6 in its last eight home games.
Prediction:
Paxton has actually been far better at home this season than on the mound despite Yankee Stadium being a hitter’s haven. But I’ll push that aside here due to the fact Paxton will be highly motivated pitching against his former team and he’ll feel comfortable in his old ballpark. Sheffield has a bright future, but he is raw right now and I don’t like his chances against the powerful New York lineup. I’m taking the Yankees on the runline here.
