Blue Jays power past M’s
Toronto spoiled the return of Felix Hernandez from the injured list Saturday night as it ended a six-game losing skid with a 7-5 victory. Bo Bichette helped lead the Blue Jays ofense as he finished 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Teoscar Hernandez went 1-for-2 with a solo homer, two walks and two runs. Billy McKinney was 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored and an RBI. Brock Stewart picked up the win as he bulk reliever as he allowed three earned runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and one walk over five innings. Clay Buchholz draws the start today for Toronto as he enters with an 0-2 record, 6.57 ERA and 1.54 WHIP with 12 strikeouts over 24 2/3 innings pitched.

Seattle lost by a count o 7-5 at home Saturday night to drop to 55-75 overall and 28-37 at home. Omar Narvaez helped lead the Mariners offense as he ended the game 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs. Kyle Seager was 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, a run scored and two RBIs. J.P. Crawford ended the game 2-for-5 with a double and two runs. Reggie McClain took the loss in relief as he gave up one earned run on one hit with no strikeouts and two walks over one-third of an inning. MLB Betting Trends
Toronto
The Blue Jays are 0-6 in their last six Sunday games. Toronto is 1-4 in its last five road games.
Seattle
The Mariners are 4-1 in the last five Gonzales home starts. Seattle is 2-6 in the last eight home meetings.
Prediction:
Toronto ended its skid last night, but I’m thinking a new one starts today. Gonzales has been better this season than his numbers suggest and he should get run support as Buchholz hasn’t shown much life left in the tank in his starts this season. In a matchup between two teams going through the string, I have to take the home team with a better pitcher on the mound.
