Miami overcame a 7-0 deficit Friday night at home as it pounded out 19 hits in a 19-11 victory over Philadelphia. MLB Betting Trends
The Phillies are 7-21 in the last 28 Eflin road starts. Philadelphia is 0-6 in the last six Eflin starts overall.
The Marlins are 1-5 in their last six Saturday games. Miami is 1-5 in the last six Yamamoto starts.
That was a brutal meltdown by the Phillies last night and I have to give the Marlins the advantage in the pitching matchup here. Eflin has been a pretty big disapointment this season, while Yamamoto was a revelation right off the bat in his MLB career. He had some struggles in tough matchups, but is coming off a fantastic showing in the hitter's haven of Coors Field. While the Phillies have already seen him twice and he wasn't great in those starts, it was mostly walks that hurt Yamamoto. I'm going to roll the dice on him and the Marlins here.
