Yelich, Shaw homer in win

Jesus Aguilar went 3-for-4 with a run. Travis Shaw ended the game 1-for-3 with a 2-run homer. Ryan Braun ended the contest 1-for-3 with a walk and a run. Keon Broxton had a pinch-hit triple to drive in one and he later proceeded to score a run. Manny Pina was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Chase Anderson picked up the win as he gave up two earned runs on two hits with six strikeouts and no walks over six innings. Jeremy Jeffress picked up his fifth save of the season, allowing one hit with one strikeout and one walk in a scoreless ninth inning.

Reds hit two solo home runs

Eugenio Suarez and Patrick Ervin each finished 1-for-3 with a solo home run in yesterday's loss. Mason Williams had a pinch-hit single in his only at-bat, the only other hit for the Reds in the game. Homer Bailey dropped to 1-11 on the season as he gave up three earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and one walk over six innings.

Sal Romano (7-10, 5.31 ERA) draws the start today for Cincinnati, while Milwaukee counters with Junior Guerra (6-8, 3.73).

MLB Betting Trends

The over is 7-1-1 in the last nine Romano starts overall. Cincinnati is 2-8 in the last 10 meetings.

The Brewers are 19-7 in their last 26 Tuesday games. The under is 23-8 in the last 31 Milwaukee games on Tuesdays.

The Brewers have the better starting pitcher on the mound today and are clearly the better team overall, especially with Cincinnati being beat up with injuries. This might be another good chance to bet on the runline as Milwaukee should be able to score plenty.
