The fifth-inning solo shot off Yankees left-hander Jordan Montgomery was Vazquez's first home run since June 27 and just his fifth home run in 103 total games this year. The big homer was Stanton's first in 15 games against the Red Sox this year; he's 9-for-49 with three RBI and 22 strikeouts against the Yankees' rival.
