Gosselin doubled to lead off the sixth inning and scored the second run of the game for the Angels on an RBI groundout by Jo Adell. He later added an insurance run with a solo homer off of Cristian Javier in the eighth. The 32-year-old infielder is hitting .272/.330/.381 with four homers and 30 RBI across 202 at-bats.

Luke Voit went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI against the White Sox on Sunday. Voit had a big day at the plate, collecting three hits after going 1-for-17 over his last four games. He singled to lead off the second inning and scored on a two-run homer by Rougned Odor. After knocking a base hit in the third, he blasted a two-run homer in the ninth off of Matt Foster for his fifth round-tripper of the season. The 30-year-old first baseman is hitting a disappointing .234/.314/.380 with just the five homers and 17 RBI across 137 at-bats as he’s struggled to stay on the field.
