New York Yankees DFS Notes
Aaron Judge went 2-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI on Thursday as the Yankees blew the lead late in a 9-8 loss to the White Sox. Judge and Giancarlo Stanton both belted two-run home runs in the 9th against Liam Hendriks, but it wasn’t enough in a game where eight total home runs landed in the corn fields. It was his fourth multi-homer game of the season and he now has a .282/.368/.518 slash line with 25 home runs in his age-29 campaign. He’s well on his way to surpassing 27 home runs for the first time since 2017.
Chicago White Sox DFS Notes
José Abreu hit his 23rd home run of the season on Thursday in a win over the Yankees. Another day, another home run for the slugger. He hit the first home run of the game — a missile to left field — off of Andrew Heaney and he’s now homered five times since August 4th. The power has been there again for Abreu, but if the season ended today, his .250 batting average would be the lowest of his career.
