Gregory Polanco and David Freese both went 1-for-4 with a run to help pace the Pirates offense. Elias Diaz finished 2-for-2 off the bench. Josh Bell provided much of the offense as he was 1-for-4 with a 3-run homer.

Buster Posey and Evan Longoria led San Francisco last night as they both finished 2-for-4. Austin Slater and Alen Hanson were each 1-for-3. Ty Blach suffered the loss as he gave up four earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts and two walks over four innings.

MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Pirates are 3-7 in Musgrove’s last 10 starts. Pittsburgh is 12-3 in its last 15 games versus a right-handed starter.
San Francisco
The Giants are 7-0 in their last seven during game four of a series. San Francisco is 1-4 in its last five games overall.
Prediction:
Rodriguez has been outstanding since coming to the MLB, while Musgrove has been solid as well for the Pirates. Runs should be hard to come by here, just like last night. I’m going to say both pitchers excel in this getaway day game and it keeps the total under the projection.
