Angels vs. Mariners Prediction
Will the Angels beat the Mariners again in Seattle when the AL West rivals meet at 9:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Mariners are -115 money line favorites to beat the Angels, who have odds of -105 to win again tonight in Seattle. With J.C. Ramirez set to face Erasmo Ramirez in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.
From Rotoworld: Ramirez fell to 10-10 after giving up six runs in seven innings Monday against the Orioles. It was two runs in six innings before Manny Machado delivered a grand slam with two down in the seventh. Ramirez previously stayed in the game after taking part of a shattered bat off his shoulder.
Ramirez struggled in a losing effort against the Royals on Sunday, surrendering five runs on eight hits over his five frames. Ramirez struck out two and didn't walk a batter. As has typically been his issue in the past, the long ball did him in on Sunday, with Whit Merrifield, Eric Hosmer and Melky Cabrera each taking him deep. He'll bring a 5.10 ERA and 1.22 WHIP into Saturday's start against the Angels.
OUR PREDICTION: Following their victory on Friday night, the Angels are now 5-2 in their last seven games in Seattle. They've also won four straight games, are 4-1 in their last five road games, and are 6-2 in Ramirez's last eight road starts. On the other side, the Mariners are 6-15 in their Ramirez's last 21 starts, are 2-8 in his last 10 home outings, and are 1-8 in his last nine starts when he faces a team with a winning record.
SATURDAY MLB PREDICTION: LOS ANGELES ANGELS -105
