Giants vs. Diamondbacks Prediction
The San Francisco Giants secured an upset win last night at the NL West foe Arizona Diamondbacks as Madison Bumgarner outdueled Zack Greinke. Can San Francisco build off that win tonight and notch another victory in the four-game series?

Bumgarner guides Giants to win
Bumgarner threw five one-run innings for the Giants in Thursday’s 8-1 win at the Diamondbacks, allowing seven hits with five strikeouts and three walks on 101 pitches. Buster Posey helped lead the offense by going 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and a run. Evan Longoria contributed a solo home run in five at-bats. Gorkys Hernandez went 2-for-5 with a run. Austin Slater was 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, three runs and two RBIs. Steven Duggar finished 1-for-3 with a walk and an RBI.
Peralta has four-hit night
David Peralta banged out three singles and a double in five at-bats last night in the loss to San Francisco. Eduardo Escobar finished 1-for-4 with an RBI. Ketel Marte ended the game 2-for-3 with a walk and a run. Greinke allowed two earned runs on four hits with five strikeouts and a walk over six innings to take the loss. The D-backs bullpen allowed six runs (five earned) over the final three innings.
Chris Stratton (8-6, 5.14 ERA) starts today for the Giants, while Patrick Corbin (7-4, 3.26) goes for Arizona.
MLB Betting Trends
San Francisco
The under is 13-3-1 in the last 17 Giants road games. The under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Arizona.
Arizona
The Diamondbacks are 8-2 in their last 10 Friday games. Arizona is 5-13 in its last 18 home games.
Prediction:
After falling to Bumgarner plus bullpen last night, the D-backs should bounce back in a much easier matchup against Stratton. Corbin has been up-and-down lately, but is always capable of a dominant start. If he allows three runs or less here, I think Arizona will be in great shape as it should score plenty off Stratton. I’m going to take a shot at the runline here to improve the payout.
