The Toronto Blue Jays dominated last night in their series opener at the Baltimore Orioles for a fourth straight victory. Is a bet on Toronto the smart way to go as the four-game series resumes tonight?

Guerrero Jr. homers twice in win
Toronto cruised to an 11-2 victory Thursday night at Baltimore to improve to 44-67 overall and 24-33 on the road. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. paced the offensive effort as he finished 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and four RBIs. Billy McKinney was 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs and two RBIs. Randal Grichuk went 2-for-4 with a solo home run plus a walk. Danny Jansen ended the game 3-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs. Trent Thornton picked up the win as he gave up one earned run on five hits with two strikeouts and no walks over six innings pitched. The Blue Jays have not announced their starting pitcher for tonight.
O's crushed at home
Baltimore fell by a count of 11-2 at home Thursday night to drop to 36-72 overall and 15-37 at home. Trey Mancini led the Orioles as he went 1-for-4 with a solo home run. Hanser Alberto was 2-for-2 with a run scored. Chris Davis ended the game 2-for-4. Asher Wojciechowski took the loss as he surrendered four earned runs on six hits with five strikeouts and three walks over 4 2/3 innings of work. Aaron Brooks draws the start tonight for Baltimore as he comes in with a 2-4 record, 5.46 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 52 strikeouts over 64 1/3 innings pitched.
MLB Betting Trends
The Blue Jays are 2-8 in their last 10 Friday games. Toronto is 4-0 in its last four road games.
The Orioles are 87-206 in their last 293 games overall. Baltimore is 6-1 in its lats seven game twos of a series.
With Toronto uncertain on its starting pitching situation and perhaps a little road fatigued, I like Baltimore to even the series here. The Orioles have been pretty good offensively lately and even if Brooks gives up some runs, I think Baltimore can match it and then some in what will probably be a high-scoring affair.
