White Sox vs. Cubs Prediction
Will the under cash when the Cubs host the White Sox in Game 2 at Wrigley Field at 2:20PM ET on Tuesday?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cubs are -210 money line favorites to beat the White Sox, who have odds of +175 to pull off the upset. With Carlos Rodon set to face John Lackey in the pitching matchup, the over/under sits at 9 runs.

Rodon was tagged for five runs and four homers in 3 2/3 innings by the Dodgers on Wednesday. Rodon’s bad start in Coors last time out wasn’t all that big of a deal, but four homers in 3 2/3 innings in Chicago is awfully disappointing. He had given up one homer in 16 2/3 innings over his first three starts. Unfortunately, Rodon’s tough schedule continues with the Cubs and Indians up next week. He should have some mixed-league value in the end, but one shouldn’t want him starting against all of these contenders.
Lackey allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks with just one strikeout over five innings Tuesday, but it was good enough for the victory in Atlanta. Lackey continues to lack strikeouts, but he was crafty and able to pick up his first victory since June 18 in Pittsburgh. He also lowered his ERA for a second consecutive outing, inching it down slightly to 5.04. Lackey still has a lot of work to do before he can be trusted outside of NL-only fantasy formats, but a road win is a step in a positive direction
