From Rotoworld: Conley limited the Phillies to two runs over six innings in a no-decision Tuesday. Conley yielded eight hits and two walks but did well to limit the overall damage, ultimately not factoring in the decision. It was a much-needed turn for the 27-year-old after his first go-round with the big club this season ended with his demotion to Triple-A a month later. Conley figures to have bought himself more time with Tuesday’s turn, and he’ll carry an unsightly 6.75 ERA and 1.59 WHIP into an interleague matchup with the Rangers on Monday.
Perez surrendered five runs — four earned — in six-plus innings and suffered a loss to the Orioles on Wednesday. He gave up a home run to the first batter he faced in the game (Adam Jones) and allowed two more runs in the third inning, but made it all the way into the seventh before being knocked from the game. He was charged with the first two of the seven runs the Orioles plated in that frame. Martin gave up seven hits and one walk while fanning three in the sub-par outing. His record falls to 5-7 with a 4.63 ERA through 18 starts. He owns a mediocre 68/38 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 101 innings.
