Brewers vs. Phillies Prediction
Is the betting total set too low in tonight’s matchup between the Brewers and Phillies at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Brewers are -125 money line favorites to knock off the Phillies, who have odds of +105 to pull off the upset. With Brent Suter set to face Jeremy Hellickson in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Suter allowed two earned runs over 4 2/3 innings Monday in a no-decision versus the Pirates. Suter had been sharp since joining the Brewers’ rotation at the beginning of July, but the Pirates pounced on him for seven hits and two walks on Monday night at PNC Park and Pittsburgh eventually won the game 4-2. Suter struck out only two of the 21 batters he faced. He has a 3.09 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 27/10 K/BB ratio in 32 total innings this season.
Hellickson surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings in Sunday’s win over the Brewers. Outside of a two-run homer by Brett Phillips in the fifth inning, Hellickson kept the scoreboard clean. He struck out six and walked one on the afternoon. The 30-year-old right-hander has pitched to a 4.44 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 19 outings this season. He will carry those numbers into a home start against these same Brewers next time he toes the rubber.
Bet Tonight’s Brewers vs. Phillies Game
OUR PREDICTION: The over is 16-4-1 in the last 21 meetings between these two teams in Philadelphia but I still like the under in this spot. The under is 7-0 in the Brewers’ last seven road games, is 18-7-1 in their lsat 26 games overall, and is a perfect 5-0 in Suter’s last five starts. On the other side, the under is 18-7-3 in the Phillies’ last 28 games overall, is 15-5-4 in their last 24 home games, and is 10-4-4 in Hellickson’s last 18 home starts.
