Jakob Junis got his fifth win of the year on Monday, pitching seven innings and allowing one run on five hits with 10 strikeouts. Ian Kennedy got his 14th save of the season as well. MLB Betting Trends
Chicago
The White Sox have lost four straight road games and 36 of their last 51 Tuesday games.
Kansas City
The Royals are 4-1 in their last five home games against a team with a losing record. However, they are just 2-6 in Sparkman’s last eight starts.
Prediction:
Cease has just one start this year, a 3-run outing over five innings against the Tigers. Sparkman has struggled as of late, allowing fur runs or more in three straight starts. He has surprisingly pitched well at home, posting a 2.19 ERA. However, he has a 7.04 ERA over two starts against the White Sox this season. Despite Chicago losing on Monday, the Sox are the better team here. Kansas City can’t consistently put up runs and their pitching isn’t going to lock down the Sox all too often.
MLB Prediction: Chicago White Sox -125
