Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Cody Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI to help the Dodgers blow out the Red Sox on Saturday by an 11-2 score. Bellinger launched a solo shot off Stephen Wright in the seventh for his 31st homer of the season, and also added a sacrifice fly. The MVP-caliber production continues for the 24-year-old — Saturday was his birthday — and the pair of hits helps him improve his slash line to a superb .338/.433/.695 with 73 RBI and eight steals over 90 games. Even if the batting average naturally regresses, the power and run production will remain and make Bellinger one of the best second-half commodities in fantasy.
Boston Red Sox Fantasy Spin
Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-3 with a homer and two RBI on Saturday in a blowout loss to the Dodgers. Bogaerts homered in the fourth off of Ross Stripling — it was the only run Stripling allowed in his five frames — and he singled in a run in the sixth. The shortstop has driven in 70 runs on the 2019 campaign with the two-RBI effort, and the homer gives the 26-year-old 19 in his 88 games
