MLB Betting Trends

The Pirates are just 5-11 in their last 16 road games and 3-10 in their last 13 road games against a winning team.

The Cubs are 23-4 in Lester’s last 27 home starts against a losing team and 43-15 in his last 58 home starts.

Lester has been solid at home for the most part, but he has given up at least three runs in five of his last six starts. Still, he posts a 2.42 ERA at home over 48.1 innings and is facing a Pittsburgh team that struggled with Darvish on Friday. Lyles has lost four straight decisions and the Pirates have lost his last five starts. He gave up seven runs in four innings to the Cubs on the Fourth of July. It may not get much better today.

MLB Prediction: Chicago Cubs -190
