D-backs vs. Cardinals Saturday Prediction
The Cardinals fell one game below .500 with a loss last night to the Diamondbacks and continue to play lackluster baseball. With that in mind, are the D-Backs a good value play as an underdog Saturday night at 7:15 p.m. ET?

Arizona Diamondbacks Fantasy Spin
Ketel Marte went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer to lead the Diamondbacks to a 4-2 win over the Cardinals on Friday. Marte plated a pair of key insurance runs with a two-run homer off Cardinals relief ace John Gant in the eighth inning. It was his 21st round-tripper of the season and his lone hit of the contest in four at-bats. The 25-year-old outfielder has evolved into a true five-category fantasy superstar and is on the periphery of the first-round discussion right now. He’s hitting .310/.358/.564 with 59 runs scored, 55 RBI and four stolen bases in 388 plate appearances.
St. Louis Cardinals Fantasy Spin
Matt Wieters launched a solo homer and walked in the Cardinals’ loss to the Diamondbacks on Friday. Wieters provided the Cardinals lone extra-base hit of the contest with a line-drive solo blast to right field off Diamondbacks starter Robbie Ray in the fifth inning. He also drew a two-out walk in the ninth inning to bring the tying run to the plate, but it wasn’t enough. The 33-year-old backstop has filled in admirably for Yadier Molina recently and is now up to six long balls in just 93 plate appearances.

Prediction:
The Diamondbacks have four straight and are 4-0 in their last four games when facing a right-handed starter. They’re also 8-3 in their last 11 games versus National League Central opponents and have won nine out of 11 after allowing two runs or less in their previous contest. On the other side, the Cardinals have dropped nine of their last 13 games overall, are 2-5 in their last seven games when facing a right-handed starter and are 0-4 in their last four home games as well.
