Dodgers vs. Angels Saturday Prediction
The Angels rallied in the ninth inning to beat the visiting Dodgers on Friday night in a low-scoring game. Can bettors bank on the over cashing when the Angels and Dodgers do it again at 7:15 p.m. ET on Saturday night?

Dodgers’ Stripling so-so in home start vs. Rockies
Ross Stripling allowed four earned runs, nine hits and a walk with seven strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision Sunday against Colorado. Stripling was having some control issues in this one, throwing just 59 of his 92 pitches for strikes. He also managed just 15 first-pitch strikes to the 27 batters he faced while unleashing a wild pitch, too. He’ll look for better results in the middle game of the Freeway Series against the Angels next Saturday at the Big A.
Angels’ McGuire ineffective in loss to Orioles
Deck McGuire gave up five runs over 3 1/3 innings on Sunday in a loss to the Orioles. McGuire gave up five hits and walked two, and he struck out four. He also gave up two homers in the fourth inning before exiting, and showed why he hasn’t been able to break through as a starter. He’s scheduled to make another start on Saturday against the Dodgers, but the Angels might want to look into upgrading that situation. If he does make the start, he’s not a strong fantasy streaming option.
MLB Betting Trends
LA Dodgers
The Dodgers have won four of their last five games and despite losing last night, they’re still 13-4 in their last 17 road games.
LA Angels
The Angels are 4-9 in their last 13 games but 8-3 in their last 11 road games.
Prediction:
The game stayed under last night McGuire didn’t fool a strikeout-happy Baltimore offense in his last start and I don’t expect him to be much better tonight against a more potent Dodgers lineup. Stripling has been excellent this season so he could be a detriment to the over but the Angels have plenty of firepower in their lineup and the over is 4-1 in Mike Winters’ last five games behind the dish. (The over is also 14-2 in Winters’ last 16 games behind home plate when the game is played on Saturday.)
The Pick: Dodgers/Angels over 9.5
