Max Muncy homered for the third consecutive game on Thursday, leading the Dodgers to their sixth consecutive victory with a 6-2 win over the Nationals in a rain-shortened five-inning contest. Muncy connected on a hanging slider from lefty Patrick Corbin, launching a majestic 410-foot grand slam into the right-field seats to put the Dodgers ahead in the fifth inning. It was his 18th round-tripper of the season and lone hit in three at-bats before the contest was called after five innings due to inclement weather. The 30-year-old infielder has been on fire at the dish recently, going deep four times over his last five games.

Washington Nationals DFS Notes

Juan Soto smacked an RBI single on Thursday in the Nationals' loss to the Dodgers in a rain-shortened five-inning affair. Soto kicked off the scoring by slicing an RBI single into left-center field off lefty reliever Victor González in the opening frame. It was his lone hit in three at-bats before the contest was called after five innings due to inclement weather. The 22-year-old slugger has been tearing the cover off the ball, hitting .293 (29-for-99) with 22 runs scored, five homers, 20 RBI and four stolen bases across 29 games since June 1.
