Royals fall to Indians
Kansas City is coming off a series loss at Cleveland this week. The Royals have lost four of their last six games. KC is 28-53 on the season, 12-28 on the road and 39-37 with the over. Danny Duffy is getting the start for Kansas City tonight. He is 3-3 on the season with a 4.48 ERA.
The Royals are putting up 4.27 runs per game this season while hitting .245 as a team. KC is leading the league in stolen bases right now with 78. On the mound, KC has a 4.93 team ERA and a 1.43 team WHIP. Jorge Soler is leading the team with 17 doubles, 21 home runs and 53 RBI. MLB Betting Trends
Kansas City
The Royals are 19-47 in their last 66 road games and 1-9 in their last 10 games on astroturf.
Toronto
The Blue Jays are 1-7 in their last eight home games and 1-11 in their last 12 series openers.
Prediction:
Reid-Foley has appeared in just two games this year and has only logged four innings. It’s pretty unclear of what he is going to bring to the table, but he has struggled with walks thus far. Duffy isn’t great, but he is pretty steady at keeping Kansas City in most games. I trust Duffy more than I trust Reid-Foley. Given the walks Foley has, and KC’s ability to steal bases, I think the Royals can manufacture runs and get the win.
MLB Prediction: Kansas City Royals -105
