Orioles vs. Rays Prediction
Will Jake Odorizzi lead the Rays to a series win over the Orioles with a strong performance today at 1:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Rays are -154 money line favorites to beat the Orioles, who have odds of +139 to pull off the upset in Tampa. With Odorizzi set to face Chris Tillman in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

Latest on both pitchers via Rotoworld:
Tillman was pulled after giving up five runs in four-plus innings Tuesday against the Indians. Probably as a lasting effect from his shoulder troubles, Tillman is pretty much throwing batting practice to major league hitters at this point. The Orioles are going to have to stop running him out there at some point, but they’re really short on alternatives at the moment. Tillman has an 8.39 ERA through nine starts.
Odorizzi pitched seven innings of three-run ball in a no-decision versus the Reds on Monday. Odorizzi hasn’t been very good of late, but fortunately for his owners, seven of the 19 runs he’s allowed in his four starts this month have been ruled unearned. His ERA remains solid at 3.78, but it’s a definite concern that he’s given up 15 homers in 69 innings.
Bet Today’s Orioles vs. Rays Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Orioles have lost five of Tillman’s last six starts, are 0-4 in his last four road starts and are just 1-4 in his last five outings when he’s coming off four days of rest. Furthermore, Baltimore has dropped 12 of 14 on the road versus a right-handed starter, is 6-21 in its last 27 road games and 5-12 in its last 17 games despite winning on Saturday. The Rays, meanwhile, are 5-2 in their last seven games overall and have won eight of their last 11 games at home.
