Mariners drop all three at Yankees
Seattle was swept in a three-game series at New York, dropping Thursday afternoon’s finale by a count of 4-3. The Mariners have now lost four in a row. Nelson Cruz went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs. Kyle Seager finished 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. James Paxton took the loss as he allowed all four earned runs in the first inning, giving up seven total hits with nine strikeouts and three walks over five innings.
Red Sox salvage game at Minnesota
Boston rolled to a 9-2 victory Thursday at the Twins after dropping the first two games in the series. Mookie Betts went 3-for-6 at the top of the order with a solo home run. Andrew Benintendi was 2-for-6 with a solo homer. J.D. Martinez finished 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs. Mitch Moreland was 2-for-3 with a double, two walks, two runs and an RBI. Rick Porcello picked up the win as he allowed no runs on one hit with five strikeouts and a walk.

MLB Betting Trends
Seattle
The under is 11-5 in the last 16 Mariners games on a Friday. Seattle is 14-2 in LeBlanc’s last 16 starts on grass.
Boston
Boston is 10-4 in its last 14 home games. The under is 11-5 in the last 16 Boston games overall.
Prediction:
LeBlanc baffled Boston last week as the tewo teams split a four-game series in Seattle. Don’t expect the same at Fenway Park as the Red Sox batters come in hot and can make any pitcher pay for mistakes. I think Wright’s knuckleball continues to dance and the Red Sox get the victory here.
