Blue Jays win two straight
The Toronto Blue Jays have won two straight in Baltimore coming into tonight’s game. The Jays had lost five straight prior to that. Toronto is 25-43 overall, 13-21 on the road and 35-31 with the under. Aaron Sanchez takes the mound for Toronto tonight. He is 3-7 on the season with a 4.25 ERA.
The Jays are struggling at the plate this season, averaging 3.88 runs per game while hitting .222 as a team. On the mound, Toronto has a 4.57 team ERA with a 1.42 team WHIP. Justin Smoak has been leading the team with six doubles, 12 home runs and 34 RBI. Randal Grichuk is adding 10 doubles, 12 home runs and 26 RBI.

MLB Betting Trends
Toronto
The Blue Jays are 2-9 in their last 11 games following a win and 1-7 in their last eight series openers.
Houston
The Astros have won five straight following a loss and 20 of their last 26 following a day off.
Prediction:
The Blue Jays are a mess and Aaron Sanchez is struggling right now. He has lost his last six decisions and Toronto is 1-7 in his last eight starts. The Jays can’t give him much for run support either and I don’t think that will change against Cole, who has led Houston to a win in seven of his last eight starts. Given the Toronto hitting woes, I would expect Houston to win by multiple runs.
MLB Prediction: Houston Astros -1.5 (-140)
