MLB Betting Trends
Pittsburgh
The Pirates have lost seven straight road games and four straight series openers.
Miami
The Marlins have won 10 of their last 13 following a win, but are just 7-19 in their last 26 Friday games.
Prediction:
The Pirates are hoping to snap out of their losing skid, but I think it may be tough today. Richards has been pitching quite well for Miami over the last few weeks, giving up just three runs over his last 24.2 innings of work. Brault hasn’t been too bad himself, allowing only eight runs over his last five appearances, but his outings have been pretty short and I just think Pittsburgh is in too big of a funk to overcome on the road against some good pitching.
MLB Prediction: Miami Marlins -115
