Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Russell Martin went 2-for-5 with a run scored on Saturday in a win over the Giants. Both hits for Martin were singles, and he came around to score on a Max Muncy free pass. The veteran 36-year-old backstop looked done as a fantasy player in 2018, but he's been quite strong in 2018 with a line of .282/.383/.397 over 78 at-bats. Some regression is coming, but considering how few viable options there are at catcher, he might just be worth a flyer if you're desperate for catching.
San Francisco Giants Fantasy Spin
Aramis Garcia went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in the Giants' loss to the Dodgers on Saturday. Garcia hit his second homer of the season when he took Rich Hill deep in the third inning. Garcia is likely to get starts against left-handed pitching, and with solid power from the right side, he's worth some consideration in DFS lineups -- depending on cost, of course -- when he is starting behind the plate against southpaws. There's no redraft value here, however.
MLB Betting Trends
The Dodgers have won 36 of their last 51 games overall and are 6-1 in their last seven games coming off a win.
The Giants are just 5-11 in their last 16 games overall and 1-4 in their last five divisional matchups.
The Giants are just 4-10 in Bumgarner’s last 14 starts versus the Dodgers and have dropped four of his last five home starts versus an opponent that has a winning record. The Dodgers, meanwhile, are a perfect 6-0 in Buehler’s last six starts coming off five days of rest and have won 10 of his last 14 starts overall.
The Pick: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+115)
