Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Spin
Josh Bell doubled three times and drove in two runs against the Braves on Thursday. Bell is up to 25 doubles, which is five more than anyone else in eight league (Byron Buxton and Bryce Harper have 20). He’s also first in the majors with 56 RBI and tied for sixth with 18 homers. He ha 45 extra-base hits in 60 games this season after finishing with 47 in 148 games last year.
Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Spin
Christian Yelich went 3-for-4 and launched his 23rd homer as the Brewers bested the Marlins 5-1 on Thursday. Yelich is hitting .385 with two homers and 10 RBI in 10 games against his former team since joining the Brewers last season, but as good as that is, it’s not all that much better than what he’s doing against the league as a whole. He has three more homers than anyone else in the majors.
