Colorado Rockies Fantasy Spin
Daniel Murphy went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a loss to the Cubs on Tuesday. Murphy cracked an RBI single in the first inning before banging a solo homer in the fourth. It’s been slow going for the veteran in his first season in Colorado, but Murphy has been warming up in recent weeks, batting .360 (18-for-50) since May 21. Overall, the 34-year-old is hitting .250/.316/.442 with four homers and 30 RBI in 36 games played.
Chicago Cubs Fantasy Spin
Willson Contreras is starting behind the plate and hitting sixth for the Cubs against the Rockies on Wednesday. This is a bit of a surprise, as Yu Darvish is on the mound, and Contreras and Darvish haven’t worked together since April 20. It’s been an excellent year for the backstop, as he is slashing .291/.398/.564 with 13 homers and 33 RBI over 54 games.
MLB Betting Trends
Colorado
The Rockies have won eight of their last nine games overall and are 5-1 in German Marquez’s last six starts.

Prediction:
The under is 8-2 in the last 10 meetings between these two teams in Chicago and is 4-1 in the last five meetings overall. The under is also 20-8-4 in Marquez’s last 32 road starts and is 15-2-1 in his last 18 outings against opponents from the National League Central. On the other side, the under is 4-1-1 in the Cubs’ last six games overall and is 7-3 in Yu Darvish’s last 10 starts versus an opponent with a winning record.
Tuesday MLB Prediction: Rockies/Cubs under 7.5
