Pittsburgh Pirates Fantasy Spin
Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored on Monday in in a loss to the Pirates in game two of a doubleheader. Reynolds came around to score the Pirates’ only run of the game on a fielder’s choice. The 24-year-old continues his excellent rookie campaign with his ninth double of the season, and he’s now slashing .320/.369/.573 over 103 at-bats with five homers and 16 RBI. Expect some regression, but Reynolds has certainly looked the part in 2019.
Cincinnati Reds Fantasy Spin
Lucas Sims will start for the Reds on Tuesday versus the Pirates. The Reds need a starter after using Luis Castillo and Sonny Gray during Monday’s doubleheader. Sims holds a 4.06 ERA and 63/16 K/BB ratio over 44 1/3 innings cover nine starts for Triple-A Louisville this season. He’s not a very desirable streaming option.
