Jays drop another
The Blue Jays fell for the second straight night, losing 6-3 on Wednesday to the Angels. Toronto is now 14-16 on the season, 7-8 on the road and 18-12 with the under. Taking the mound for Toronto tonight is Aaron Sanchez. He has a 3-1 record with a 2.32 ERA.
Marcus Stroman had a rough outing on Wednesday, giving up four earned runs and six hits over 3.1 innings of play. He fell to 1-4 on the season with the loss, but has just a 2.20 ERA. At the plate, Randal Grichuk drove in two runs for the Jays while Rowdy Tellez had two hits and a RBI.
Angels win third straight

The Angels put up four runs in the fourth inning to put up a 5-0 lead on Toronto on Wednesday and ride off with the win from there. Mike Trout had two hits and had three RBI to lead the Angels at the plate while Tommy La Stella had two hits, scored two runs and had a RBI. Los Angeles went with a reliever in the start, as Luke Bard pitched a perfect first.
MLB Betting Trends
Toronto
The Blue Jays are 11-4 in Sanchez’ last 15 starts and 5-0 in his last five starts in a Game 3 of a series.
Los Angeles
The Angels are 9-2 in their last 11 home games against a right-handed starter and 17-5 in their last 22 home games against a team with a losing record.
Prediction:
The Angels seem to be clicking right now and it’s hard not to ride them during a hot streak. They still have the best player in baseball and a capable arm on the mound today in Skaggs. Sanchez is certainly not an easy pitcher to get past, but Toronto is on the road and their hitting hasn’t been terribly stellar in this series. Another late game probably won’t help the East Coast Jays either.
MLB Prediction: Los Angeles Angels -160
