Washington Nationals Fantasy Spin
Victor Robles went 2-for-5 with a double, three RBI and two steals against the Rockies on Tuesday. Robles had his strong game in just his third of the season out of the two hole. He might get a chance to keep hitting there until Trea Turner returns, and if that’s the case, he’s probably a top-10 fantasy outfielder for at least the short term.
Colorado Rockies Fantasy Spin
Raimel Tapia homered in a third straight appearance Tuesday against the Nationals. That may or may not give him more homers than Ian Desmond has had during his entire Rockies tenure. Tapia definitely deserves more playing time at Desmond’s expense; it’s not like the Rockies would seem to have anything to lose by making the switch.
MLB Betting Trends
Washington
The Nationals have won 10 of their last 12 games when playing the third game of a series.
Colorado
The Rockies are 4-1 in German Marquez’s last five starts and are 5-2 in his last seven outings at Coors Field.
Prediction:
The Rockies are relatively expensive today but I like the matchup none-the-less. Sanchez has struggled this season and will face a Rockies lineup that owns a .180+ ISO against right-handed pitching. Lefties Charlie Blackmon, David Dahl, Nolan Arenado, Trevor Story and Daniel Murphy could all give Sanchez trouble today. On the other side, I like Marquez to pitch well.
The Pick: Colorado Rockies -155
