Philadelphia Phillies DFS SPIN
Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with a homer and two runs scored on Saturday in a loss to the Braves. Harper’s solo shot off of Ian Anderson in the sixth gave the Braves a 4-3 lead. It’s the first homer of the year for the former MVP, and probably not the last. The 28-year-old has begin 2021 on a solid note with a .282/.471/.440 line, and fantasy managers should expect that slugging percentage to go up as the season gets deeper.
Atlanta Braves DFS SPIN
Ronald Acuña went 2-for-4 with a double on Saturday in a victory over the Phillies. Acuña also scored a run, coming around to score on an Ozzie Albies double in the first inning. That’s the fifth two-bagger of the year for the 23-year-old, and the superstar has been scorching hot as of late with the bat. Drafted with the first-overall pick in a substantial number of leagues, fantasy managers are likely not complaining about a .406/.441/.844 slash to begin the year with three homers and two steals in the first eight games of the year. They shouldn’t be, anyway.
Phillies vs. Braves Betting Prediction
The Phillies are now just 1-5 in their last six meetings with the Braves in Atlanta and are 11-27 in their last 38 road games. The Braves, meanwhile, are 4-0 in their last four games overall, are 4-0 in their last four divisional games and are 9-2 in their last 11 home games when facing a left-handed starter.
