PITCHING MATCHUP
The pitching matchup tonight features Jose Berrios on the mound for Minnesota to face Mike Leake of the Mariners. Berrios pitched a complete-game gem against the Orioles on Sunday, allowing just three hits and one walk with no runs and six strikeouts. Leake pitched well against the Indians at home on Sunday, allowing just two runs and five hits over seven innings.

KEY INJURIES

BETTING STRATEGIES
The Twins opened the series on Thursday with a 4-2 victory over Seattle. Minnesota was down 2-0 after the first inning, but then rallied to score four runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings. Mitch Garver and Eddie Rosario each had a home run late to put Minnesota over Seattle. Miguel Sano also homered in the win and had two RBI.
Kyle Gibson got the start for the Twins and allowed one earned run over 4.1 innings. The Minnesota bullpen pitched 4.2 innings and allowed just one hit. James Paxton allowed two runs over five innings of work for the Mariners, but the Seattle pen gave up two runs over 3 innings. Jean Segura and Daniel Vogelbach each had two hits for the Mariners.
Minnesota has surprisingly looked pretty good so far and their starting pitching has held up pretty well. Berrios had an amazing start against the Orioles but I don’t think he will be able to match that today. Still, he should be strong enough to lead the Twins past the Mariners.
