PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION

The public is backing the Royals today. Kansas City is currently getting 55 percent of the wagers for this game as a slight favorite against the White Sox.

KEY INJURIES

The Royals have a key name on the injury report as catcher Salvador Perez is out until May with a knee injury. He racked up 80 RBI and 27 home runs last season while hitting .268.

BETTING STRATEGIES

After winning with hitting on Thursday in a 14-7 victory, the White Sox won with pitching on Sunday in a 4-3 victory. Starter Lucas Giolito only lasted six innings and gave up three runs, but the Chicago bullpen had three innings of scoreless work to get the win. Yoan Moncada had a home run and scored twice to lead Chicago at the plate. Avisail Garcia added two hits in the win.

Ian Kennedy went six innings for the Royals on Saturday and allowed just one run and four hits. However, Brandon Maurer gave up three runs on three runs in one inning of work. At the plate, Lucas Duda drove in two runs while Jon Jay each had a pair of hits.

The White Sox have impressed me so far. Their hitting has looked pretty solid and they are getting some good innings on the mound. Neither starter looks too impressive today, so I think this game will come down to the bats and I like the Chicago bats more than the Kansas City ones.
